Find conversations in your buyers’ language
Start with what someone would type when they need help. A founder selling invoice software might monitor “invoice reminder”, “chasing invoices”, or “late payments”. Those phrases give the scan a specific problem to look for, even when the buyer has never heard of the product.
Leaddit matches Reddit posts against the keywords attached to your product. It is useful for spotting questions and frustrations across communities without opening a separate search tab for each phrase. A keyword match is the start of your review, not a reason to pitch.
Read the score and its explanation
Each match receives a buyer-intent score from 0 to 100 and a reason. Use both. A person comparing tools has a different need from someone sharing a joke about software subscriptions. The explanation helps you decide whether the match deserves attention.
A score is a prioritization aid. It is not a probability of a sale or proof that a person has budget. Open the original thread, read the replies already there, and check whether you can add something useful.
| Thread signal | A sensible next step |
|---|---|
| A specific request for a tool | Compare the constraints with your product. |
| A recurring manual task | Offer a practical method; clarify what they need. |
| A competitor complaint | Understand the limitation before recommending a switch. |
| General discussion or a rant | Read for research; a product reply may add nothing. |
Draft the reply, then make it yours
Generate a draft for a worthwhile match. Edit any assumption, remove claims about experience you do not have, and add an answer that makes sense for this particular question. Disclose your connection to the product when you mention it.
You copy the final text and post it from your own Reddit account. Leaddit does not publish or send messages for you. Read the current community rules before contributing, including rules about links and self-promotion.
Choose the cadence that fits your routine
Starter scans every six hours, Growth every two hours, and Scale every hour. The dashboard also supports manual scans, subject to your plan’s cooldown. Paid plans include email alerts, with keyword and draft limits shown on the pricing page.
Your first scan and first reply are free without a card. Use that first run to judge whether the vocabulary you chose finds relevant discussions. If the results are mostly noise, revise the keywords before increasing your coverage.
Measure the conversations you actually earn
Keep a small record of the thread, why it fit, what you answered, and whether the reader asked a follow-up question or visited your site. Count qualified conversations separately from keyword matches. A busy feed can hide a weak acquisition channel.
If you use a tracked link where links are allowed, compare those visits with signups and customer feedback. Leaddit does not guarantee customers, traffic, or AI recommendations. The useful test is whether it helps you find and respond to relevant demand.
