Product

Find a useful answer before you mention your product.

Leaddit drafts replies for the conversations it finds. Your job is to check the advice, make it specific, and decide whether a product mention belongs in that thread.

Draft from a relevant conversation

A useful reply starts with the question and the constraints behind it. Someone asking for an invoicing tool for a two-person agency does not need the same answer as a finance team managing hundreds of clients.

Use the intent reason to decide whether to open the conversation. Then read the original post and existing answers. If you cannot offer a useful suggestion, leave the match for research instead of creating a reply just because it scored highly.

Review the draft as if it carries your name

It does carry your name once you post it. Check product details, examples, and any claim of first-hand experience. Remove anything you cannot stand behind. An AI draft should not invent a customer story or pretend you used a competitor.

Add one concrete step the reader can try without signing up. When your product is relevant, disclose that you built or work on it. Explain a limitation that affects the reader’s situation rather than pretending the product fits every use case.

Illustrative example

Try separating overdue invoices into two groups: customers waiting on an approval, and customers who missed the message. Each group needs a different follow-up. I work on [product]; it can help with [verified capability], but it does not cover [relevant limitation].

You choose what is posted

Leaddit does not connect to your Reddit account to publish comments. You generate a draft, edit it, copy it, and post it yourself. You can also choose to contribute an answer without mentioning a product.

Human review does not make every reply acceptable. Each community sets its own rules, and a thread requesting recommendations may still restrict affiliated links. Check the current rules and disclose your connection whenever you name your product.

Drafts are metered by your plan

Starter includes 100 reply drafts per month, Growth 300, and Scale 800. Running out of drafts does not stop paid scanning and scoring. You can write your own response, wait for renewal, or change your plan.

The first scan and first reply draft are free without a card. Compare that real draft with how you would answer the thread yourself. The free reply builder on this site is a separate guided writing tool; it arranges advice you supply and does not call AI.

Judge the reply by what it contributes

A good response addresses the specific question, acknowledges a tradeoff, and makes the next action clear. Length and the number of product mentions tell you little about whether it helps.

When someone asks a follow-up question, answer it directly. Keep track of useful conversations and any self-reported signups, but do not promise a conversion rate. One thoughtful exchange can be worthwhile even when there is no immediate sale.
